Vitasoy International Holdings Limited (HKEX: 0345) was founded in the 1940's when malnutrition-caused diseases were proliferating in Hong Kong. Vitasoy founder Dr. K.S. Lo's answer to the plight was the creation of nutritious, high-protein and vitamin-rich soybean milk.

In 1979, Dr. Lo's daughter, Yvonne, founded Vitasoy USA Inc. as a subsidiary of Vitasoy International Holdings Limited. In the early 1990's, Vitasoy USA acquired two tofu companies: Nasoya, the #1 tofu in the USA and Azumaya, the #1 tofu on the West Coast. More than 20 years later, Vitasoy USA Inc. has continued to prove itself as a leader in the tofu and soymilk markets.
