Mr. Walter Riglian
General Manager
Mr. Riglian, a senior sales and marketing executive with over 25 years
of managerial experience with both large multinational and small emerging
consumer products goods companies, joined the Company in April 2005.
His professional experience includes senior corporate and field sales
management
positions at Procter & Gamble, Frito-Lay and Kraft General Foods.
He was instrumental in the rapid growth of three emerging companies,
leading
the sales and marketing efforts of Mission Foods, Stonyfield Farm and
Yves Veggie Cuisine, a division of the Hain-Celestial Group. Through
his
managerial direction and resourcefulness, Walt developed and implemented
a proprietary process to evaluate and monitor trade spending, promotion
efficiency and individual customer profitability that significantly enhanced
sales performance and reduced costs. He is a graduate of Seton Hall
University.
Mr. Ned Desmond
Vice President, Marketing
Mr. Desmond joined the Company in May 2006. At Vitasoy, Ned is responsible
for leading the marketing strategies and programs for the company. That
includes consumer research, public relations, trade marketing programs
and consumer marketing programs. He is also involved in new product devlopment.
Before joining Vitasoy, Ned was a founding officer of Nantucket Nectars.
He helped grow Nantucket Nectars from start-up to over $65 million in annual
sales, and was involved in its successful acquisition by Ocean Spray. After
Nantucket Nectars, Ned worked for several years with a leading consulting
firm to the food and beverage industry. Ned holds a Bachelor of Arts from
Dartmouth College and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard
Busines School.
Mr. John Wareham
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Wareham joined the Vitasoy USA Group as Director of Operations in
1998. He was promoted to his current position in 2003. Mr. Wareham is
responsible
for ensuring that all products meet our customers’ quality expectations
and are on time and on budget. Mr. Wareham’s unwavering commitment
to the ideal of continuous improvement in a safe, professional, team-oriented
work environment has earned Vitasoy superior ratings from American Institute
of Baking. He has been consistently successful in bringing ingenuity
and
a collaborative problem-solving style to his challenges at Vitasoy USA.
Prior to joining the Vitasoy USA Group, John served as Plant
Manager
for Basic American Frozen Foods. He has been involved in the food manufacturing
business since 1972. Mr. Wareham holds a B.S. from Penn State College.
Mr. Michael Auth
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Auth joined the company as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial
Officer in May 2005. He is responsible for all of Vitasoy USA’s
accounting and IT functions. Mike brings almost 30 years of senior
financial management experience for both U.S. and international public
and private companies primarily in the areas of telecommunications
and
technology. Most recently, he held Chief Financial Officer positions
with GLOTEL Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of a U.K. publicly traded firm,
and ZYGO
Corporation, a U.S. publicly traded manufacturer. He holds an MBA from
The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BBA in Finance
from
the University of Notre Dame.
